剧情：
2002年，韓培印的兒子勝利考上了西安一所大學，從農村來到城市。為了讓勝利上學，老韓變賣了家裏所有值錢的東西，到西安打工，為兒子解決大學的生活費和來年的學費。做了一輩子農民的老韓堅信知識會改變命運，他樂觀地盼望著，兒子上了大學，將來一定會有出息。 勝利面臨畢業，性格內向的他面對強大的就業壓力，感覺這個城市越來越遠，上過大學的他很可能賺得比父親還要少。 有一個本子被老韓隨身裝了好幾年，裏面記滿了三年來十元、二十元的借款記錄，以及他對兒子勝利的期望：“我兒勝利要在2013前後，也就是父親的60歲前後，咱們全家到北京好好的玩幾天，那時候咱們大家都很有錢……” In China, HAN has sold off all the family’s home valuables and now works in Xi an city to make money for his son to go to college.
